Belarus bans pike fishing from March 1

Starting March 1, a ban on pike fishing is in effect in five regions of Belarus. According to the new rules, anglers will not be able to use any fishing methods to catch pike within the Minsk, Gomel, Vitebsk, Brest, and Mogilev regions during this period. The ban aims to protect pike populations and preserve the country's fishing resources.
