Belarus to boost New Year security

According to Alexander Volfovich, Secretary of the Security Council, "we must not let our guard down—especially during the New Year holidays."

Volfovich said the president has set the main task as ensuring security so that people do not even think about uniformed personnel during the holiday. The enhanced security regime will be in effect across the country.

"That will be the best reward—if everything passes calmly and truly festively," added the head of the Security Council.
