President presented a detailed report on the "Oreshnik" missile system and cooperation with Russia
A detailed report by Defense Minister Viktor Khrenin was presented to the President of the Republic of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko. The report covered the deployment of the 'Oreshnik' missile system and its assignment to combat duty. The country's leader was thoroughly briefed on all issues, including matters of joint military and military-technical cooperation with the Russian Federation.
The report discussed in detail the development of domestic missile manufacturing. It reported recent launches of the modernized 'Polonez-M' missile system with increased range and improved firing accuracy. Successful modernization of the 'Buk' air defense system was also noted, along with plans for delivering new systems to the troops.
Regarding personnel matters within the Armed Forces, the report proposed appointments to key positions.
