EAEU five-year development plans
EAEU development plans for 5 years
The statement on the main directions of the EAEU's work for the five-year period outlines seven key priorities.
1️⃣ Industrial growth and technological development. "I am confident that we are ready to implement specific cooperation projects in key industries and technological areas. There is growing interest from the real sector of the economy in the financial support tools offered within the EAEU."
2️⃣ Cooperation in agriculture. "Farmers of the EAEU countries can not only feed our citizens but also take a significant place in the global food market. Persistence and strict technological discipline are required."
3️⃣ Strengthening transport and logistics potential. "This is one of the priority areas for cooperation with observer states at the Union. During the current year, work continued on the development of Eurasian transport corridors and routes."
4️⃣ Functioning of the Union's internal market. "We will persistently strive for its effective and coordinated operation in the interests of the economies of member states. We expect further steps towards creating a common commodity exchange market of the EAEU."
5️⃣ Digital transformation. "The digital environment should make a significant contribution to the competitiveness of our economies, not create additional barriers within the EAEU."
6️⃣ International dimension. "Currently, we face the task of compiling a list of new partners. I believe that among the countries of Africa and Asia there are many friendly states, trade contacts with which can strengthen the economic potential of the Union. The voice of the EAEU sounds confidently on international platforms – from Geneva to New York."
7️⃣ Humanitarian dimension. "The main goal of our work is creating a comfortable environment for citizens. This is evident in the absence of border queues, the possibility of freely obtaining education and recognition of qualification documents, access to medical care and mobile roaming, and the ability to use traditional payment instruments without unjustified restrictions."
