Epstein: up to $35M in compensation
The Estate Fund and the executors have agreed to settle the claims
Bloomberg reported that the successor to financier Jeffrey Epstein, the estate fund and its two executors — Darren Indyke and Richard Kahn — will pay up to $35 million to victims linked to the case.
The fund intends to 'permanently resolve, terminate and settle' the situation regarding claims that arose after Epstein's death in 2019. The minimum compensation is set at $1 million, and the maximum at $35 million, conditionally covering all claims.
The news is confirmed by Bloomberg and reflects agreements reached between numerous victims and their attorneys.
