In 2025, the Gomel region recorded significant growth in key economic indicators. The gross regional product increased by 102.5%, and agriculture grew by 112.1%. Construction demonstrated a 123% increase. During the year, 568 thousand square meters of housing were commissioned, and milk production rose by 107%. Gomel Regional Executive Committee Chairman Ivan Krupko presented a detailed report to the President of Belarus within the framework of the 'Presidential Wednesday' project, highlighting the task of maintaining this pace and promoting further development of the agro-industrial complex under the 2026–2030 five-year program.
