Lukashenko signs trade laws
Law on ratification of EAEU-UAE, EAEU-Mongolia agreements and MoU on cooperation with Nigeria signed
President Alexander Lukashenko signed three laws during the day aimed at developing trade and economic relations with foreign partners.
The first law, ratifying the Agreement on Economic Partnership between the Eurasian Economic Union and the United Arab Emirates, provides for simplified mutual trade and enhanced cooperation. According to the official press center, its implementation will give additional competitive advantages to EAEU products and create conditions for expanding export supplies.
The second law provides for the ratification of a provisional trade agreement between the EAEU and Mongolia aimed at simplifying mutual trade. The substantive effect of the law will accelerate the exchange of goods and services between the countries.
The third act is the ratification of the Memorandum of Understanding between the governments of Belarus and Nigeria on cooperation and mutual assistance in customs matters. The document establishes the main principles and forms of joint work, procedures for providing mutual assistance, and cooperation between customs authorities in preventing and investigating customs violations.
Lukashenko signed laws on ratifying EAEU-UAE, EAEU-Mongolia agreements and a Memorandum on cooperation with Nigeria, which is expected to strengthen Belarus's economic ties with partners.
