Lukashenko speaks on bankruptcy reform
The president emphasized shifting focus from bankruptcy to corporate recovery
President Alexander Lukashenko, during a meeting with representatives of the State Duma, emphasized that "two years ago, a new law was adopted in this area, which was discussed several times at my level." He noted that the approaches to procedures have now shifted: the focus is no longer on bankruptcy, but on rehabilitation and preservation of enterprises and jobs. Lukashenko stated that it is necessary to identify bottlenecks revealed in practice and eliminate them to further reduce losses, which will help prevent bankruptcies.
