Panasonic to transfer business to Skyworth
Panasonic has announced that starting April 2026, it will transfer its television sales business in Europe and the US to the Chinese company Skyworth. According to Panasonic representatives, this will allow the Japanese brand to focus on the domestic Japanese market and the development of the premium segment. A similar strategy was adopted by Sony, which established a joint venture with the Chinese conglomerate TCL Electronics to split its television division.
