President outlined 10 economic priorities
From technological sovereignty to tourism development
According to the president, the country's immediate plans include ten key points:
1️⃣ Technological sovereignty. Projects based on developments from domestic scientific and industrial schools are needed.
2️⃣ Localization and cooperation. Emphasis is placed on the rational use of international collaboration and the integration of production competencies.
3️⃣ Development of the national IT industry. A 90% import-independent software product is desired in critical sectors.
4️⃣ Energy independence. Belarus has strengthened its energy independence through nuclear power, but the level must increase by 2030.
5️⃣ Sustainable and profitable food production. Problems with animal feed, livestock care, and agricultural machinery must be resolved within no less than a year.
6️⃣ Efficiency and quality. It is noted that only high-quality service will ensure survival and profitability.
7️⃣ Effective sales for successful foreign trade. A well-thought-out strategy and logistics are necessary.
8️⃣ A refined consumer market. The advantage of products labeled "Made in Belarus" is emphasized.
9️⃣ Tourism as a driver of economic growth. The goal is to create a strong brand for Belarusian tourism and double its contribution to the economy.
10️⃣ Strong regions. Regional policy is highlighted as a priority, shifting focus to each district.
