Industry down: 98.2% negative

According to President Alexander Lukashenko, in 2025 Belarusian industry showed 98.2% negative dynamics in the second half of the year, and in January 2026 the rate remained at -3.4%. "Throughout the year, this crucial sector experienced a steadily slowing trend, with 98.2 percent showing negative dynamics in the second half," he stated. Half of the manufacturing industry is in a difficult situation. Last year, on the key Russian market, Minprom fell short by 1 million dollars, and all its enterprises are in the red zone.
