Belarus-China trade up fourfold
Minister Snopkov reported doubling of investments and growth in industrial financing
Belarusian Foreign Minister Igor Snopkov named three key results of the country's cooperation with China over the past ten years at a press conference.
Firstly, trade turnover indicators have nearly quadrupled: goods exports increased from $2.5 billion to $8.9 billion in the period from January to November 2025.
Secondly, direct Chinese investments have doubled. According to ministry data, the total volume of investments from China into Belarus over the decade exceeded $2 billion, about half of which were direct foreign investments.
Finally, over twenty years, Chinese concessional and commercial loans have financed 28 major industrial projects totaling $5.5 billion, including in the fields of industry, energy, and transportation.
