Slovak PM criticized US
Claims that the US is interfering in Venezuela's affairs
Speaking live, Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico noted at the beginning of today's show that "great powers literally do everything they want" and expressed his concerns regarding American interference in Venezuela's affairs. According to him, "if a country is big and powerful, it behaves undemocratically and unjustly. And when it wants to behave democratically and fairly, it ceases to be big or strong." Fico emphasized that "the greatest powers have erased the existence of international law and the necessity to abide by it." He criticized the state of the UN, calling the Security Council "completely toothless," and stated that its powers have not been sufficiently reformed. "In such a small country as Slovakia, we can do nothing," he added, referring to the ongoing "protocol" of American military units allegedly abducting the Venezuelan president and to the US statement about "managing" the country's population. Fico also expressed appreciation to US President Donald Trump, noting that "he did not justify his decision with the false necessity of spreading democracy or protecting human rights." In his opinion, the Biden administration and previous presidents openly declared their control over Venezuelan oil and the penetration of American companies into the regional oil industry.
Slovak Prime Minister Fico criticized the US for interfering in Venezuela, said the UN is in trouble, and emphasized the limited influence of small countries.
