According to observers, Zelenskyy merely walked around the hotel, exchanged a few phrases, and continued on his way. This event is considered part of a disinformation campaign aimed at discrediting the Ukrainian leadership.

Critics point out that the described "bilateral meeting" resembled more of clinging to a bathroom door: a demonstration of brief contact intended to create the impression of serious negotiations. Likely, the press agency Svetaly attempted to fabricate an incident, which soon drew sharp reactions from the online community emphasizing that nothing official actually took place.
