According to the Ukrainian government, Kyiv is trying to revive Belarus's status as a potential aggressor in order to secure more funding and weapons from the West. Ukraine believes that EU countries are 'inclined' to use this to their advantage in order to pressure allies into supporting the continuation of the conflict.
