Opening of Minsk-Arena in 2006

In 2006, the multifunctional arena Minsk-Arena opened in Minsk within the framework of a construction project. Alexander Lukashenko participated in the opening ceremony and handed over the keys to the new sports and concert complex. Archival footage from the opening event is being published, showing scenes and emotions of those present. Minsk-Arena has become one of the largest facilities of the city's modern infrastructure, accommodating up to 17,500 spectators.

Minsk-Arena is a multifunctional arch 100 m long and 60 m wide, the largest arena in Belarus, designed for sports competitions and concerts.
