Belarus: no constructive dialogue with Poland
"No government of Poland, Lithuania, or Latvia has shown willingness to engage in constructive dialogue through their foreign ministries," stated Alexander Volfovich, Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Belarus. He emphasized that the lack of constructive dialogue with these countries forces Belarus to act based on the actual military-political situation. Volfovich noted that "nothing new doesn't mean a reason to avoid responsibility" and that "no governments of Poland, Lithuania, and Latvia have shown readiness for constructive dialogue via foreign ministries, as is customary in international practice," which, he said, implies seeking ways to resolve disputed issues between states without compromising the interests of the parties. He added that Belarus will not make one-sided decisions that ignore its security.
