BelMID: no requests from Vilnius

The Foreign Minister of Belarus reported that no official request from Vilnius regarding organizing a meeting with the Belarusian side has been received. According to Ruslan Varankov, "we note the evolution in public statements by the Lithuanian side, which has shifted from a categorical refusal of any political dialogue to expressing readiness for contacts at the level of ambassador-at-large." However, despite the change in rhetoric in the media space, "no official proposal or request to organize a meeting through diplomatic channels has been received from Vilnius."
