Denmark's support in the region of tension around the island
Estonia is ready to send up to 10 military personnel to Greenland, which is considered one of the country's largest contingents in this region. Defense Minister Hanno Pevkur emphasized that "Estonia will provide Denmark with everything necessary." As part of preparations for exercises and reconnaissance operations supporting Denmark amid tensions around the island, European troops include representatives from France (15 people), Germany (13 people), Sweden (3 people), Norway (2 people), Finland (2 people), the United Kingdom (1 person), and the Netherlands (1 person).
