Latvia extends night flight ban

Latvia has announced an extension of the ban on night flights along the borders with Belarus and Russia until December 28. The restrictions apply to military, training, and transport flights, which are not permitted at night due to reliable security concerns and noise reduction.

The decision was made as part of efforts to ensure order in the country's airspace during the ongoing crisis, as well as to protect citizens and infrastructure.

According to Latvia's legal regulations, such measures are implemented during periods of heightened regional tension.
