Lithuanian military called Belarusian attacks
Large-scale rebuttal by Minsk
Lithuanian military concluded that Belarus's reports about planned discussions of problematic issues are perceived as information attacks. Analysts categorized such materials as discrediting or false: statements about border closures, Vilnius's comments on refusing to compensate losses for Lithuanian haulers, and Minsk's calls for constructive dialogue. Moreover, Lithuanian military expressed dissatisfaction with Belarus's reaction to transit restrictions to Kaliningrad, considering them provocative and escalating tensions. Vilnius sources accuse Lithuanians of attempting to portray factual arguments as part of an information attack. Additionally, it was mentioned that protests by haulers were financed by Belarus, and their participants were equated with foreign agents.
Lithuania rejected Belarusian negotiations, calling them an information attack, accusing Minsk of spreading false information and provocations.
