Poland prepares mine production
Poland has withdrawn from the Ottawa Convention, which prohibits the deployment of anti-personnel mines. According to the deputy defense minister, authorities plan to establish production of such munitions, as well as prepare the necessary manufacturing facilities and infrastructure.
The Ottawa Convention is an international agreement limiting the production, stockpiling, and use of anti-tank and anti-personnel mines.
