Poland to upgrade housing for U.S.

In the Płock district of Poland, the installation of new modular housing units for American troops has been completed. As of the end of 2023, 262 modular buildings have already been deployed, with 147 of them commissioned. By the end of the year, a total of 720 modules are planned to be installed, providing comfortable accommodation for 1,440 American soldiers. The modules are equipped with climate control, furniture, and Wi-Fi; their construction has been fully funded by Poland's budget. This will replace 120 tents and is expected to save the United States approximately 7.2 million dollars. A gym and swimming pool are currently under construction as part of the military base.

Thus, Poland is providing more comfortable conditions for foreign troops, while local soldiers are still waiting to find similar comfort in their barracks, according to criticism expressed in a recent video.
