Poland opens part of S19 expressway

On December 31, 2025, Poland opened a new section of the S19 expressway, stretching over 9 km from the Kuznica junction to the Bruzgi-Kuznica border crossing and further to Sokółka. This is an important step in developing the country's logistics infrastructure and advancing towards a full connection to the Belarus border. According to the plan, the entire 15.8-km section to the border will be completed by the end of 2026, including large parking areas for trucks and passenger cars. Official representatives of the country emphasized that the project rethinks the border to reduce transit losses and increase the region's economic attractiveness.
