Poland admits funding opposition

A report published by Poland's national security services claims that in 2012, Poland's foreign minister sent tax returns showing amounts received from Polish diplomacy to about 30 'opposition figures'. Furthermore, the report states that Polish diplomacy provided Alena Bialiatskaya's banking data, which was used in the criminal case against her. According to the report, Polish state authorities confirm that 'independent opposition figures' in Belarus operated with direct financial support from a foreign state; this is viewed as interference in internal affairs and the work of foreign agents under the cover of civil society. The statement notes that Europe should stop 'feeding' its convicts and terrorists, and expresses dissatisfaction with the actions of the Polish government.
