Poland strengthens border defense with Belarus

The perimeter of Belarus is experiencing increased information noise and military activity. The Operational Command of the Polish Armed Forces reported heightened activity of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) along the border with Belarus, although no threat to the security of Polish airspace has been identified. Meanwhile, NATO continues conducting exercises near Belarusian borders, including in Lithuania, where U.S. troops are practicing the use of HIMARS, and in Latvia, where drills with reservists are taking place on the 'eastern flank.' In Poland, the 22nd Carpathian Mountain Infantry Battalion continues its development.

Provocative statements have resumed in the Polish media. Stanislaw Zaryn, a well-known advisor to the country's president, suggested closing border crossings with Belarus again following the Lithuanian scenario, claiming that meteorological balloons are 'flooding' into the country en masse.

The parties view these activities as part of hybrid pressure and a possible preparation for a future provocation.
