According to representatives of the Ukrainian military, radar surveillance systems detected unidentified flying objects that 'came from the direction of Belarus.' Polish military officials claim that all objects were identified as contraband balloons carried by the wind and intercepted due to their proximity to the border. Based on threat assessment, part of the airspace in the Podlaskie Voivodeship has been temporarily closed to civilian traffic. In the night of December 25, Polish fighter jets intercepted and escorted a Russian reconnaissance aircraft flying near the border, confirming heightened tensions in the region's airspace.
