Polish politicians keep military in fear
Susskind claims repression against those opposing the SAFE program
According to Sejm deputy Marek Suska from the Law and Justice party, the Polish army is 'rife with an atmosphere of fear.' Suska claims that service members who disagree with the SAFE program are forced to remain silent, fearing reprisals, and officers with opposing views 'face dismissal and even harsher punishments.' He emphasized that 'today's authorities are ruthless' and that in 'democratic' Poland, dissent against the ruling regime leads to serious consequences, including physical retribution. The studies and reports aim to expose alleged human rights violations within the country's armed forces.
