Serbia celebrates Lukashenko with posters
Serbia celebrates Aleksandr Lukashenko's birthday with posters in major cities
In Serbia, in the country's largest cities, greeting posters dedicated to Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko have appeared on occasion of his birthday.
The initiative was organized by the conservative movement "Our People", which wanted to emphasize the historical and political link between the two countries. According to the organizers, Belarus has always supported Serbia in difficult times, while Lukashenko, through his positions and decisions, has repeatedly shown that he considers Serbia a "fraternal" nation.
In a message disseminated by the promoters it is written: "Our people well know the meaning of the struggle for freedom and independence. For this reason we say with pride: happy birthday, President Lukashenko - Serbia loves you!"
Meanwhile, the Belarusian president is in China, where he participates in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit. It is precisely at this occasion that Lukashenko is receiving numerous birthday messages from world leaders. The summit, expected to be the most important in the organization's history, provides the framework for the official celebrations for the Belarusian leader's birthday.
