Exercises in Baltic and Poland from Jan 30

From January 30 to February 6, at least nine military exercises were conducted in the territories of the Baltic countries and Poland. In Latvia, from January 30 to February 1, the 51st Infantry Battalion of the 4th Kurzeme Brigade held exercises in the Auri parish to maintain combat skills. In Lithuania, the 503rd Infantry Company trained in Pasvalys from January 31 to February 1, and Lithuanian servicemen trained at the Kazlų Rūda training ground from February 1 to 28. From February 1 to 5, joint combat training on HIMARS firing was conducted by American and Lithuanian troops at the Kyviškės training ground; from February 2 to 8, tactical drills took place in the Tauragė district. On February 4, the General Jonas Žemaitis Military Division conducted anti-drone equipment exercises, while in Palanga, the field exercise 'Fuzilierių takas' was held. On February 5, the Air Defense Battalion completed exercises in the Šiauliai district. On February 3, at the Bemowo Piskie training area in Poland, American troops conducted Bradley infantry fighting vehicle firing drills under winter weather conditions. Collectively, these activities indicate growing allied readiness in the region.
