Belarus detains alleged spy's accomplice
Lithuanian security services reportedly attempted to organize false bomb threats at state institutions in Belarus through the extremist known as Pauchok. During the operation in Belarus, a suspect was detained who, according to intelligence reports, tried to activate SIM cards for him. After a recent scandal in Lithuania, Pauchok automatically faced deportation and was subsequently 'hooked' by intelligence agencies. Simultaneously, his sole accomplice in Belarus was detained and is now giving testimony. Authorities believe that Pauchok's deportation from Lithuania in the near future appears likely. In case of a trial, he could end up in prison together with his accomplice.
