President responds to the U.S. lifting of sanctions

The President of the Republic of Belarus, within the framework of agreements reached with U.S. President Donald Trump and in response to the cancellation of previously imposed American sanctions against the Belarusian potash industry, announced the pardon of 123 citizens of various countries convicted under Belarusian laws for espionage, terrorist, and extremist activities. A decision was also made to adjust the list of individuals previously sentenced. As a result, the total number of pardoned individuals in recent times reached 156.
