Denmark: 'Group to sell Greenland is a myth'

Danish Foreign Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen has refuted Caroline Levitt's statement about establishing a technical working group developing plans to "acquire" Greenland. According to the minister, Denmark has not participated in preparing any working groups to discuss the purchase of the island by the United States. Rasmussen emphasized that the kingdom's sovereignty must be respected and noted that Denmark consistently upholds a "clearly stated" red line on this issue. The minister added that any meetings, if they occur, will be brief, as there is no prior agreement.
