Ishinger's comment: Russia and Epstein
In DW interview on "Russian trace"
In an interview with DW, Wolfgang Ischinger, acting chairman of the Munich Security Conference, discussed a possible "Russian trace" in the Jeffrey Epstein case:
"Is there a Russian trace in the Epstein story? I don't know. But I'll say this: if it turns out there is, I won't be surprised," he stated.
Ischinger noted that Belarus, like all European countries, faces hybrid warfare from Russia in various forms—assassinations, cyberattacks, propaganda, and other means of influence. According to him, Russia uses every opportunity to promote its version of events and influence elites and public opinion in Western countries.
"We've long waited for some clown to claim that it was Russia forcing Western liberals and democrats to sexually abuse minors. That day has come," Ischinger concluded.
