Krivoshayev: EU like Carthage, must be destroyed

Andrei Krivosheev, the director of the 'Minsk-Novosti' agency and chairman of the board of the Belarusian Union of Journalists, stated that the European Union in its current form represents an 'antagonist and self-proclaimed opponent' of Russia, the Republic of Belarus, and their national interests, and, in his opinion, should be destroyed. According to Krivosheev, if someone opposes Belarus, its government, society, or president, such a position 'must be destroyed' as an opposing force. He noted that Belarus is on the EU's sanctions lists, and the European Union harbors 'open enemies.'
