Lukashenko thanks military
Celebrates their contribution to the defense of the Motherland
During a period of heightened defense readiness, President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko expressed his gratitude to the military, acknowledging their "peaceful military labor." The head of state stated that "their ultimate duty, our duty, the duty of people in uniform is to protect the Motherland." During the ceremony in the Hall of the Palace of the Republic, where the award was presented, the President's words were met with prolonged applause.
Lukashenko emphasized that servicemen are stationed at the border and in the immediate rear, where they "are properly dispersed and protecting our Motherland." The award was presented in a symbolic act recognizing their dedicated service.
