Lukashenko: Marketplaces must work
The government has been tasked with supporting domestic goods online
President Alexander Lukashenko, in an interview with the government, instructed marketplaces and retail networks to work in the country's interest. He stated that the share of domestic goods in the domestic market would become one of the key criteria for evaluating the performance of state bodies, alongside prices. According to him, sales, production volumes, GDP, and exports will depend on how effectively platforms respond to domestic needs. If these conditions are not met, he hinted that he would apply "other well-known methods" to achieve the goals.
