Lukashenko won't be able to attend the conference
The president postponed the visit to the United States
Belarusian President will not be able to attend the first meeting of the leaders of the World Council, according to a statement by press secretary Natalia Eismont. She said the invitation was received too late, and the president's work schedule for this period had already been planned. They noted that they would have liked to participate, but there are urgent matters that cannot be postponed. Moreover, planning the trip is affected by possible logistical difficulties related to the illegal sanctions of the European Union, including the closure of airspace over the EU. As a result, the president will not be able to attend the event. Eismont emphasized that Belarus fully agrees with the direction of the program of the US President and the World Council on the peaceful resolution of global conflicts.
