Lukashenko on Belarus's future

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko spoke about the country's future and called on citizens to participate in its development in his speech on December 18, 2025.

"What kind of Belarus will be depends only on us. Everyone should think about our country's development. Let's do everything so that there is a place for our children to live," Lukashenko said. He noted that "this moment has chosen us, and it is a time for concrete actions," and emphasized that we cannot shift the responsibility for solving problems and issues onto future generations: "We, our generation, cannot pass unresolved problems and questions onto the shoulders of our children. We have no right to do so."

The state leader stressed the importance of acting now and making decisions that will shape the country's future. Despite the absence of specific plans in the statement, the determination to act for the people's well-being was clearly expressed.
