Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko expressed concern over the growing popularity of electronic cigarettes, especially among young people, students, and schoolchildren. He emphasized that due to increasing popularity, strange cigarettes could become a serious threat to public health. According to him, there are increasingly frequent calls to restrict or even completely ban the production and circulation of electronic cigarettes. Lukashenko noted that he does not want an underground trade in these products to emerge.
