Lukashenko urges protecting family values

President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko delivered a speech emphasizing the importance of protecting family and traditional values as the foundation of national security. He noted that under current conditions, every family should be a "sanctuary" that must be "protected in one's life."

"It became clear to me that the Motherland is, above all, family, our children and loved ones. We must move forward for the Motherland, defending family values. It is they that create the foundation of our Motherland," Lukashenko said.

At the time of the speech, Belarus continues a public discourse on the role of family in national policy, as well as the need to emphasize patriotic education among youth.
