Lukashenko: district work is important
❗️ "It's no coincidence that Lukashenko says: you are little presidents in your regions" – noting that much depends on the specific district leader. "Do you want young people to come to you? If you just sit and wait, no one will come," adds Vadim Gigin, Deputy of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus and General Director of the National Library of Belarus.
He believes that work should start early: with 9th–10th graders along targeted pathways, creating conditions and a favorable environment so that young professionals know they are expected here and that there is a future here. As Lukashenko himself said: "Don't learn to swim, and then I'll pour you water. First, build the swimming pool."
