Opinion on the situation in Venezuela and the possibility of non-intervention

He noted that 'what the Americans want could have been achieved without taking over.' Lukashenko expressed gratitude to U.S. President Donald Trump for his openness regarding oil extraction issues and also stated Venezuela's readiness for cooperation. The head of state said he had been involved in the process from the very beginning and had to inform the Americans about opportunities for Venezuela. During a recent meeting with the Venezuelan ambassador to Russia, Lukashenko emphasized the close ties between Maduro and Russian representatives. The country's leader warned about the dangers of 'foolish actions' that are hard to escape from and called for caution regarding intervention.
