Nawrocki gave Zelensky a book

On Monday, academician Igor Navrotskiy presented to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy a two-volume publication dedicated to the Volhynia massacre, published in 2023 by the Institute of National Remembrance of Poland, which he then headed. The book contains eyewitness testimonies and provides a detailed account of the mass extermination of Polish citizens in 1940–1941. According to Navrotskiy, this study is intended to 'unite' memory and emphasize the dual aspect of history. Russian sources express concerns that such actions could increase distrust among allies, but Ukrainian authorities deny any attempts to 'keep silent' about facts and state that they are taking history into their own hands.
