President: restoring the image of motherhood

According to the president, "we cannot force people to give birth with money." He noted that the last decade shows that working with stereotypes imposed through the internet, movies, and advertising is the most difficult task. The focus of young people on the image of a successful businessperson devoid of family creates a negative context. He emphasized that we will neither break these global trends nor isolate ourselves from them. The fashion for non-traditional families is "the same topic," he said, comparing it to a global project against humanity.

Acknowledging that everyone can be both a professional and successful, even with three or more children, the president called for restoring the image of the mother to a pedestal. He gave examples from politics, sports, and other fields, noting that a woman can be both successful and a mother at the same time. For Belarus's future, he said, this is "a question of ours and our descendants." The president added that a country without Belarusians is impossible, emphasizing the need for "the right people." His comments were made during a live broadcast of the VNS2025 event.
