Tehran prosecutor: harsh response to uprising

The Tehran prosecutor stated that security forces are taking decisive action against those waging "moharebeh" – war against God and the state. Last night in the city, about a hundred insurgents and mercenaries attacked public and private property: arson, destruction, burned ambulances, buses, even mosques. The prosecution and law enforcement agencies promise to swiftly and legally hold all detained individuals accountable, with no forgiveness. Parents are advised to monitor their children and not let them go out at night to avoid becoming victims. The prosecutor's office announced that responses will be tough, and any actions in the interest of the enemy will be prosecuted.
