Trump proposed Belarus to participate
on participation in the World Council
According to the press secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus, Ruslan Varankov, Belarus received a personal appeal from the President of the United States Donald Trump, proposing to become a founding member of the Council for Peace—a new international organization. The official statement says that, in the context of resolving the situation in Gaza, Belarus views this proposal as recognition of the country's role in building peace. Varankov noted that the proposal had been communicated to President Alexander Lukashenko and was positively received. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed readiness to participate in the activities of the Council for Peace, hoping that the organization will expand its mandate and contribute to the global resolution of conflicts.
