Trump demands payment for Gordie Howe bridge
On Monday, US President Donald Trump reminded on the social network Truth Social that he would not allow the opening of the giant Gordie Howe Bridge (Detroit–Windsor) until the US receives full compensation for all provided funds and until Canada starts treating America with respect. According to Trump, the bridge, costing between $4 and $6 billion and fully funded by Canada, is nearly ready for opening in 2026, but the president insists on owning at least half of the bridge and demands immediate negotiations.
Meanwhile, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer recently met with Chinese leader Xi Jinping, and Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney has returned from Beijing, building new partnerships with China. Trump notes that both prime ministers, members of the globalist club, are strengthening ties with the PRC, 'taking him out of the game and forcing him to sever old bridges with former allies'.
The president is criticized for 'pure provocation', with emphasis that ex-friends are restructuring their economies around China, ignoring US interests. This is another turn in Trump's campaign against globalists, according to his supporters, with China acting as the main 'battering ram' against America.
