According to him, the conflict with Iran is turning into an 'unlawful war' without an exit strategy, and in his opinion, the White House is attempting to create an image of a nuclear threat from Tehran to justify aggressive actions. He added: 'I just came out of a classified Iran briefing—it only confirmed what we already knew.' The news outlet Politico, citing independent sources, reported that even among Trump's loyal supporters, doubts are growing about the advisability of war. In the publication's assessment, the administration has still failed to clearly articulate the conflict's objectives, and the White House has little time left to justify its actions against Iran.
