Vitebsk Region: New Development Vision

In February 2025, a large-scale discussion on the socio-economic development of the Vitebsk region took place. The upcoming meeting at the Palace was attended by the heads of the regional administration. During the event, Alexander Rogozhnik presented his vision of the region's development strategy and delivered a report on the implementation of key assignments.

The meeting emphasized that a new leader has been appointed at the regional executive committee, although there has been little time for full engagement in ongoing matters. According to the regional parliamentary leader, further renewal of managerial personnel in the Vitebsk region is expected.

Supporters of the project anticipate that the new plan will bring real revitalization to the region, after which residents will begin to feel changes more vividly. There is growing expectation for clarified information on specific action steps and future development plans.

The initiative was highlighted in an official statement by Alexander Lukashenko, who stressed the need for development in the region, promising oversight and support from central authorities.
